As the sole photographer, I set out to document the story behind TopLine Retrievers—a premier dog training business known for its championship retrievers. I embedded myself with the staff to photograph their field training process, capture candid dog-handler interactions, and showcase the facility’s full trophy room. Using a Canon DSLR and Adobe Lightroom for editing, I built a cohesive visual essay that reflects both the energy of the dogs and the pride within the company. The image “Maverick” from this series was nominated for a national photography award, making this one of the most meaningful projects of my portfolio.
